Leonard Newell Lasher, 70, peacefully passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the University of Vermont Health Medical Center in Plattsburgh, NY surrounded by his loving family.

Leonard was born on May 15, 1955 in Gouverneur, NY son of the late James and Lillian (Greenwood) Lasher.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Durham and her spouse Mike Durham, Angel King and her spouse Jerry King, and only son James Lasher, grandchildren, Brittany Paige and her spouse David Paige, Caprice Durham, Summer Breeze Stubbs and her spouse Morgan Stubbs, Shyla Crawn and Charee King, great-grandchildren, Levi Paige, Autumn Breeze Stubbs, Eliana Stubbs and Oaken Paige, siblings, Elizabeth (Lasher) Roy and her spouse Marc Roy, Edith Martin and her spouse Rick Martin, and many nieces and nephews.

Leonard was a dedicated fan and enthusiast of WWE, Football, and Pro Boxing. He also enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, Andy Griffith and the Three Stooges. Lenny was also a die-hard fan of the LA Rams which he loved watching and supporting. However, his favorite times were going out for ice cream with his family which he cherished so much.
