RUSSELL – Gary M. McCormick, Jr., age 54, of Russell, passed away on April 8, 2026 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

Calling hours will be held at French Funeral Home in Edwards on Thursday, April 16, 2026 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. His funeral will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hidden River Haven, 796 River Road, Edwards NY. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Gary was born on November 23, 1971 in Ogdensburg to Sally (Parrow) Marble and the late Gary M. McCormick, Sr. He graduated from Morristown Central School in 1991 and married Robyn Clintsman on September 15, 2018.

Gary worked as the Plant Operator for Boralex Hydro Operations, Inc. out of South Glens Falls. He has worked for them for almost 30 years. Gary had previously worked at John's Small Engine Repair and Cranberry Lake Sports and Repair. Gary loved tinkering in his garage and could fix anything with a motor. He also enjoyed snowmobiling, playing shuffleboard, camping, and was a former member of the Clare Club.

Gary is survived by his wife, Robyn McCormick, his mother, Sally Marble, his two sons, Craig McCormick and Kurt McCormick and his significant other, Hannah McIntosh, siblings, Michele (Jason) Donnelly, Amy (Kim) Kimbrel, Shauna (Spencer) Kirby, and Andrew McCormick. He is also survived by his grand-dog Tyson.

He is predeceased by his father, Gary McCormick, Sr., and his step-father, Norm Marble.
