GOUVERNEUR- Corey C. Cyrus, age 27, of Gouverneur, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at his home.

Corey was born on July 27, 1998 in Gouverneur, NY to Richard C. Cyrus and Brenda L. Ingram. He attended Gouverneur Central School. Corey had worked as a ground's keeper for TJ Roark Landscaping in Lafayette, TN. He enjoyed working for various people over the years. He was often playing RuneScape and loved helping people. But most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and his children.

Surviving is his mother, Brenda Ingram; his father, Richard Cyrus; a daughter, Paisley Cyrus; a son, Kashston Cyrus; three brothers, Patrick Cyrus (Jessica Sweet), Joshua Cyrus (Sara Ellard) and Richard Cyrus (Bobbi Sue Prashaw); three sisters, Takisha and Shayne Austin, Ciera Way and Amy Cyrus; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There are also two other children who Corey thought of as his own.

Corey is predeceased by his grandparents, Lula and Raymond Cyrus and Marlene and Roger Ingram; three uncles, Donald, Raymond and Reggie Cyrus; three aunts, Linda Thomas, Carolyn Peck and Lisa Cyrus.
