EDWARDS - Natalie D. Hart, age 61, of Edwards NY, passed away February 22, 2026 at her home, under her family and compassionate hospice care, after a tough battle with cancer.

Natalie attended Edwards Central School and graduated in 1982. She later attended college at Canton ATC, graduating in 1984. She worked as a legal secretary for 30 plus years.

Natalie married Matthew Hart at St. James Church in Gouverneur, NY on May 13, 1995.

Natalie's memory will forever be cherished by her loving husband, Matthew Hart, and their three children; David Hart, Joseph Hart, and Abigail Hart. She is also lovingly remembered by her parents, Dave and Charlotte Dean, sister; Kelly Woods (Dennis), and the Sofko/Tozier Family.

Natalie, the light in many lives, passed away too soon, leaving a void in her family and friends. Natalie's life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments surrounded by family.

She found joy in simple pleasures, such as spending time at Trout Lake with her family. Whether she was riding kayaks, sitting by the fire, throwing the ball to her dogs, or going for boat rides, Natalie treasured those moments. Her passion for photography shined through as she captured thousands of countless sports memories of her three children and their various sports. Natalie, everyone's biggest supporter, was always in the stands cheering them on and capturing life's simple moments and big wins at EK.

Natalie was the glue that held her family close together, a source of unwavering support and unconditional love. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

All services will be through French Funeral Home (Edwards, NY). Calling hours will be held, Friday, February 27th from 3:00-6:00pm.
