NEWTON FALLS- Bryan P. LaPlante, age 33, of Newton Falls, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Bryan was born on July 9, 1992 in Carthage, NY to Patrick and Michele (Richards) LaPlante. He graduated from Clifton-Fine Central School in 2010.

Bryan started out his working career at the IGA in Star Lake until it closed. Then he worked at the Great American Grocery Store in Star Lake, then Sunmount in Tupper Lake. Most recently, he had worked at Cranberry Lake Biological Station as a cook. Bryan was your true north country guy. He loved hunting, fishing, riding ATV's, woodworking and knife making.

Surviving are his parents, Patrick and Michele LaPlante; his three children, Briann, Addison and Ryker; a sister, Paige LaPlante; Paternal Grandparents, Joanne and Frank LaPlante; Maternal Grandmother, Elizabeth Brassard and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Bryan is predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather, Terry Richards.
