STAR LAKE- Yvonne I. "Bun" Peabody, age 85, of Star Lake, NY passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, January 1, 2026.

Yvonne was born on March 3, 1940 in Star Lake, NY to the late Arthur and Pauline (Hendricks) Saber. She attended Clifton-Fine Central School. She married Harold Peabody on November 3, 1960. Harold passed away on July 25, 2003.

Bun worked as a manager for Lykes Pasco in Zephyrhills, Fl until her retirement. In her free time, she and her husband loved to travel. She enjoyed shopping and loved to socialize.

Surviving is a son Richard Peabody and his companion Kathleen Pirri; a daughter and her husband, Cheryl and John Fraser; a brother, Gordon and Deb Saber; five sisters, Sharon and Neil Marsh, Gracie and Richard Burrows, Wanda Reynolds, Roxa and Mark Iwan and LeAnne and Tony Favata; five grandchildren, Brooks Fraser, Aimee (Jesse) Buckley, Jordan (Viktor) Kodan, Austin Peabody and Tyler (Kelsey) Montieth; three great grandchildren, Julian Mathew, Mila and Lauren Trinca and several nieces and nephews.

Yvonne is predeceased by her husband, Harold; her parents, Arthur and Pauline; a son, Robert Peabody and a granddaughter, Tara Peabody.
