GOUVERNEUR – Kevin L. Manning, Sr., age 59, passed away on December 31, 2025 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

His family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Kevin was born on December 19, 1966 in Watertown to the late Donald and Ethel (Streeter) Manning. He attended Gouverneur Central School and worked for Stills Lumber Mill in Ava, NY making pallets, worked in the yard at White's Lumber in Gouverneur and for Subway in Gouverneur before retiring due to his health.

Kevin enjoyed working on old fashioned cars, watching football as a avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, listening to older country music, cooking, and making subs (and eating them!).

He is survived by his fiancé, Mary Nellenback, two children, Kevin Manning, Jr. (wife Ashley) and Chelsea Hall (fiancé, David Storms), three grandchildren, Peyton Manning, Ariana Sibbitts and Wyatt Potter, and siblings, Donna (Steve) Jesmer, Dale (Erica) Manning, Cindy (Mike) Mullin, and Dave Manning. He is also survived by a brother-in-law, Dave Woods, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Kevin is predeceased by siblings, Donald Manning, Jr., Sonya Manning, and Shelly Woods.
