FOWLER – Nancy J. Richards, age 84, of Fowler, passed away on December 17, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Nancy was born on November 16, 1941 to the late Vernon and Nettie (Hance) Rice. She attended school in Edwards. She had worked on various dairy farms in Florida, Georgia and in New York in her younger years. Also, at a cricket farm in Biloxi, MS.

A marriage to Edward Aldridge ended in divorce. She is the widow of Roger Peck and George Richards. Nancy enjoyed going to the casino, crocheting, spending time on her I-Pad, baking, making donuts and bread, and scratch off tickets. She loved feeding and watching the birds, squirrels and chipmunks, and would give them names. Her favorite was a chipmunk she named Rag Tail. She also loved cheese curd, often eating 2 pounds a week, going to the races when she was younger. Nancy enjoyed watching the Young and the Restless, Survivor, and Crime TV.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Aldridge) Hubbard and her companion, Chris Smith, Tracy (Aldridge) Taylor-Bogan and her companion, Bob Horton, and Candy Peck and her companion, Ricky Cole, sisters, Irene Roberts and Nettie Whitford, 4 grandchildren, Eric Bullock, Morgan Paul, Justin Hubbard, and Amber Dashner, 8 great-grandchildren, and the 3 grand fur babies that lived with her. Along with many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by adult sisters, Mary Lou Walrath, Joyce Zeller, Grace Holly, Sandra Carlin, Beulah Kerr, and two infant siblings, Evelyn Rice, and Vernon Rice Jr., and her beloved dog, Tasha.
