SOUTH EDWARDS- Phillip R. Lewis, age 61, passed away on October 28, 2025 at Samaritan Medical Center.

Phillip was born on October 29, 1963 in Lyons, NY to the late Orville P. and Bonnie (Law) Lewis. He attended Edwards Central School and on July 30, 1988, he married Lisa Hotaling at the South Edwards Methodist Church with Rev. Tracey Cook officiating. Phillip worked as a carpenter for Contech for many years and then most recently for NTC.

In his free time, Phillip enjoyed grilling, fishing and hunting. His happy place was his veggie garden. He also enjoyed feeding the birds.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Lisa; their sons, Alex Guyette, Corey (Jamie) Lewis, Shawn (Chrystina) Lewis and Aaron (Paige) Lewis; a daughter-in-law, Brittany; a sister, Laurie (Robert) Hamilton; 10 grandchildren that he loves so very much; his mother and father-in-law, Bruce and Patsy Hotaling and his beloved dogs, Gracie and Dusty.

In keeping with Phillip's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral. A celebration of life will be held in the summer at the Edwards Lion's Club Field with a date to be announced later.
