GOUVERNEUR- Mary G. Farr, age 91, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at her home under the loving care of her family and St. Lawrence Valley Hospice.

Mary was born on November 15, 1933 in Hailesboro, NY to the late Joseph and Mary E. (Jarome) Boclair. She attended school in Richville and then graduated from Gouverneur High School in 1951. On May 12, 1951, she married Kermit E. Farr at the Gouverneur Methodist Parsonage with Rev. Stanley Brown officiating. Kermit passed away on May 29, 2002. In her free time, Mary enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and loved to go shopping.

Surviving are two daughters, Robin Farr and Michelle (John) Butler; a son, Eric (Barb) Farr; a sister, Kathleen Stine; four grandchildren, Jackie (Daniel), Christina (Tim), Michael (MJ) and Melissa (Evan); three great grandchildren, Katelyn, Adam and Ryan and one great-great granddaughter, Brielle.

Mary is predeceased by her husband; her parents; a daughter, Shari Felder and four brothers, George, Gerald, Albert and Francis.
