FOWLER – Denver R. Littlebrant, Jr., "DR", age 65, of Fowler, passed away on August 21, 2025 at home.

DR was born on June 5, 1960 in Gouverneur to the late Denver R. Littlebrant, Sr. and Barbara J. Cross. He attended school in Gouverneur and worked as a butcher for Foeppel's Meat Shop, installed satellite dishes for Ben Posen, and was a self-employed butcher.

DR was a gentle, nurturing person who loved being outdoors. He took nature walks, fed the wild animals, was very fond of birds, and grew many plants, including cactus plants. He was never seen without his dog, "Trouble", who he spoiled.

Denver is survived by his long-time companion, Deborah LaRock, children, Denver "Denny" Littlebrant, III, Jessica (Art) Stark, and Ron Ames, his siblings, Donna Morey, Pamela (Marty) Owen, Terri Whitaker, Michael (Sandy Burnett) Littlebrant, and Michelle Littlebrant (Brian Barrett) and many grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his parents, a son, Todd LaRock, a sister, Sallie Morison, and two brothers-in-law, Francis Morey and Bill Whitaker.
