HARRISVILLE- Kenneth A. Richards, age 76, of Harrisville, NY passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Essex Center in Elizabethtown, NY.

There will be a graveside service on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Edwards. Arrangements are entrusted to French Funeral Home, Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.

Kenneth was born on July 30, 1949 in Potsdam, NY to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Porter) Richards. He attended Hermon-Dekalb School and then went to work at St. Joe Mineral Corp. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing computer games and playing his guitar.

Surviving are his children, Shawn and Michelle Richards, Heather and Willie Wilson and Kelly Richards; two brothers, Danny and Rodney Richards; three sisters, Joyce Cronk, Kathy Wood and Connie Jones; seven grandchildren, Carl, Breyanna, William, Noah, Sierra, Ashton and Lucas.

Kenneth is predeceased by his parents; a grandson, Dylan Richards; two brothers, Terry and Tommy Richards and a sister, Sharon Gilmore.
