GOUVERNEUR- Tina F. Binion, age 97, of Gouverneur, NY passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Meadow Brook Health Care in Plattsburgh.

There will be calling hours for Tina on Thursday, July 31st from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Tina was born on December 8, 1927 in Gouverneur, NY to the late Joseph and Rena (DeCastro) Frank. She attended Canton Central School. On August 8, 1948, she married Robert A. Binion Jr. at St. Mary's Church in Canton. Robert passed away on April 18, 2007.

Tina grew up working at her families dry cleaning business, the Bandbox Dry Cleaners in Canton. As an adult, she stayed home to take care of her children. She enjoyed reading, cooking, helping out at the Catholic Church and she just enjoyed doing things for anyone who needed her; but most of all, she loved her family.

Surviving are her two children, Robert A. Binion III and Deborah L. (Jeffrey) Filiatrault; a sister, Patricia (Norman) Holland; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren.

Tina is predeceased by her husband, Robert; her parents and a brother, Lallo Frank.
