RICHVILLE – Donalda E. Jackson, age 75, of Richville, passed away on June 17, 2025 at home.

Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. immediately followed by her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Clare. Donalda was born on August 30, 1949 in Gouverneur to the late Arnold W. and Marion (Finley) Wylie. She graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 1969 and married Gene Jackson on December 24, 1969. Gene passed away in 1991. Donalda was a bartender at the Gouverneur American Legion for 7 years and a charter member of the Richville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and buying lottery tickets, taking care of her flowers, going for walks, and playing cards.

Donalda is survived by three children, Norma J. Jackson, Arnold E. Jackson, and Lynn A. Jackson, and a sister, Evelyn Johnson.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Gene Jackson, her long-time companion, Al Bush, and brothers, Delbert and Eddy Wylie.
