My time knowing you was short, even shorter though your long life. The impact you had on me will not be forgotten, from the stories about your travels to the lessons you gave me as i navigated life as a young adult. It burdens me with deep sorrow that you wont be able to meet your great grandson azeem but he will know about you through your legacy and expansive family. You shared your love with me when we first me and made sure we left with a hug and a kiss every time, i will never forget the first time you grabbed me and kissed me on the cheek like i was your own grandchild. You treated me like i always belonged with you and always had a place in your home, you extended kindness to a stranger and i never even got to say thank you. Love Cedric (possibly your favorite grandchild-in-law)

My favorite memories are always gonna be the holidays, you always went all out.
We would spend hours hanging christmas decorations.
Walking through the stores and buying 100 presents for all the many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
You never did have any plan, just you and your giant notepad full of names against the world and then we'd sit at the dining room table and sift through the dolls and trucks and we always came out with to many but you always had to make sure all the littles got at least 4 or 5 presents.
Christmas will never be the same without you here, I don't have a memory of a Christmas eve that wasn't at Grandma's but I promise to make your wreaths every year and pass on the tradition to my grandkids some day.
I love you and I miss you and I know you're out there somewhere right now laughing over a cup of coffee and a deck of cards with my dad,
give him a hug for me and save me a seat.

I have been a part of this family for so long that it will be tough to keep my memories to a minimum. I can recall my most vivid memory of her was at Thanksgiving. The woman would make a feast that could feed the town. Whenever we were able to make it up there for the holiday, her face would just light up. When I was going to nursing school, I would try to help her with clean up and such, and she would always yell at me. "Get over there and do your school work. That is more important than you helping me clean up!" When I graduated from school, she told me how proud of me she was. She was always one of my biggest supporters! I will miss you very much. No longer will I have someone to tell me, Love you, love you and to buckle up and drive safe. Love you Sandi!

I have many memories of my mom. Its so hard to just pick one. I can remember all the things she did to help moving be an easy transition. When I was younger, I couldn't go out and play with the other kids. She managed to get me an Atari so I had something to do. As the years went by, she always managed to get us things we needed. So a couple years ago, I was able to do something for her. She and my dad came down to Florida and we took her to clearwater beach. She was able to put her toes in the water one last time. I can remember the look on her face. I'm not sure if it was because she was happy, or because we found the coldest day of the year and the water was freezing. Afterwards, she and my dad sat on the beach. Even though it wasn't a very sunny day, she just sat there and we talked about "stuff". Love always, I'll see you again.

My best memory of my mom was growing up. She was always there for us. She worked all the time, but still had time for us no matter what she loved us so much. Didn’t matter what kind of work she had to do she did it just for us. from bartender to cricket raising to anything else, she was the greatest. James P Carlin lll
