RICHVILLE- Gary L. Garrand, age 68, of Richville, NY passed away on May 10, 2025 at the Canton-Potsdam Hospital.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service for Gary. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date at his camp. Everyone is requested to dress casual, bring a dish to pass and bring a gun to partake in a gun salute to Gary if you would like. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home. Gary was born on April 9, 1957 in Gouverneur to the late Leigh R. and Ruth A. (Austin) Garrand. He graduated from Gouverneur Central School in 1976. Gary worked in Sales and Delivery for Watertown Spring and then for Cook Brothers in Binghamton, NY. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Majonica and Ed Drake; two grandchildren, Carson LeRoux and Alexxya Drake; and a brother, Alan and Nancy Garrand.

Gary is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Conrad L. Garrand who passed away in 1946.
