GOUVERNEUR – Kathie J. Perrin, age 73, of Gouverneur, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Massena Rehab Center.
Calling hours will be held at French Funeral Home in Gouverneur from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 immediately followed by her funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Wayside Cemetery in Richville. Kathie was born on June 22, 1951 in Gouverneur to the late Grant and Virginia (Paige) Aldrich. She attended school in Gouverneur, Greenwich, and Indian River. Kathie married Larry Perrin on January 2, 1970 at the Gouverneur United Methodist Church, the marriage ended in divorce.
Kathie worked as a self-employed house cleaner for many people in Gouverneur. She was a member of the American Legion and spent many hours setting up for and working wedding receptions there and at the VFW. She enjoyed competing in shuffleboard tournaments and watching TV.
Her survivors include a sister, Annette and Randy McEathron; Nieces, Cali McEathron and Cara Aldrich; a nephew, Casey and Alissa McEathron; great nephews, Landon and Aydin Cobb and a great niece, Adelynn McEathron. She is predeceased by her sons, Larry Perrin, Jr. and Brian Perrin; two sisters, Charlene Aldrich and Donna Aldrich and a great nephew, Noah Cobb.
