Obituary of Clarence E. Paro Jr.

SOUTH EDWARDS – Clarence E. Paro, age 63, of South Edwards, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2025 at home.
Clarence will be buried in the South Edwards Cemetery with his wife, Debbie on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home in Edwards. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com.
Clarence was born on March 25, 1961 in Star Lake to the late Clarence E. Paro, Sr. and Shirley Isabell (DeLorme) Paro. He graduated from Edwards Central School in 1980. He grew up and worked on his parents' dairy farm before logging for a few years, tree farming for 11 years for Snowball Tree Farm. After that he worked as a landscaper for DeLuke Lawn Scapes and spent 9 years working for the Thousand Islands Golf Club doing their maintenance and lawn care. He retired in 2001 due to health reasons.
He was married to Debra "Debbie" M. Kerr. They had been together since 1983 and married on January 6, 2002. Debbie passed away on November 15, 2021.
Clarence enjoyed building models, used to hunt, and loved to restore old snowmobiles. One of his favorite restorations was his 1971 Dodge Dart.
He is survived by three children, Charles Paro and his girlfriend, Jennifer Pittsley, Tina and Shane Calhoun, and Raylynn Bristol, a brother, Raymond Paro, two sisters, Sharon Briggs and Brenda Paro, and his granddaughter, Avery Marie Wilson.
Clarence is predeceased by his wife, Debbie Paro, a brother, Burt Paro, and sisters, Carol Hendrick and Burtell Ellis.
