Obituary of Erline B. Brown

FULLERVILLE – Erline B. Brown, age 84, formerly of Fullerville, passed away on December 11, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Calling hours will be at French Funeral Home, Gouverneur, on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Fullerville Cemetery at a later date. Erline was born on November 3, 1933 in Hermon to the late Ellis C. and Agnes (Brayton) Denton. She married Charlie Junior Brown on July 10, 1976. He passed away on October 8, 2011. Erline loved cooking and bowling. She and her husband Charlie loved going shopping together, going on long car rides and dancing. Erline is survived by two daughters, Melody McCumber, Tammy McIntosh; a step-daughter, Sheila Bell; two sons, Ellis LaPlante and David Cole; and a sister, Barbara Brown. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Charlie Brown; a grandson, Herbert McCumber; two brothers, Clarence Thompson and Ellis "Junior" Denton; two sisters, Belva Crump and Lois Denton and a step son, John Brown.
