RICHVILLE- Charlotte P. House, age 72, of Richville, NY, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at Canton-Potsdam Hospital. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at East Riverside Cemetery in Gouverneur with Rev. Beth Quick officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Charlotte was born on July 4, 1945 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Charles and Margaret (Moore) McNeil. She graduated from Argyle High School in 1963 and then went on and graduated from Albany Business College in 1965. She married Daniel L. House Sr. on March 9, 1968. Daniel passed away on October 25, 1988. Charlotte was a homemaker, but also had worked various jobs throughout her life. She enjoyed raising her children, having rummage sales and gardening. Surviving are two daughters, Peggy and Robert LaFave Jr. of Natural Bridge, Joanne and Mark Eddy of Harrisville; a son, Daniel House Jr. of Richville; a brother, Charles and Alyce McNeil; two sisters, Mary Smith and Irene and Henrik Rupp; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
