FINE – Beverly J. Miller, age 70, of Fine, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at the St. Joseph Nursing Home in Ogdensburg. There will be a memorial service held at French Family Funeral Home, Star Lake, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Roger Benjamin and Rev. Eric Harblin officiating. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Beverly was born on April 28, 1945 in Pitcairn to the late Merriam Harris, Sr. and Frances (Stafford) Harris. She attended schools in Pitcairn, Harrisville and Russell. Beverly married Vernon E. Miller on March 9, 1963 in the Edwards Methodist Church. The couple moved to Fine in 1966. Beverly was an excellent mother and cook. She had a good sense of humor, enjoyed playing cards, especially Pedro, and used to enjoy league bowling. Her survivors include her husband, Vernon; a daughter and her husband, Diane and Larry Donaldson; three sons, Duane, Darrell, and Darcy Miller; a sister, Shirley Harris; and a brother, Hiram Harris. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Larry and Angelina Donaldson. Beverly is predeceased by a brother, Merriam Harris Jr. and a sister, Norma Hutt.
