SANDISFIELD, MA- Craig F. Clark, age 68, of New Berkshire Skilled Care Center, Sandisfield, MA, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. There will be a graveside service on Monday, May 4th at 9:00 a.m. at Stark Cemetery in Colton, NY with military honors and Rev. Beth Benham officiating. Arrangements are with French Funeral Home, Gouverneur. Condolences may be shared online at www.frenchfuneralhomes.com. Craig was born on January 4, 1947 in Charlton, NY to the late Frank H. and Pauline A. (Laird) Clark. He graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School and then worked as a delivery driver and photographer assistant prior to being drafted into the United States Army in August of 1968, serving in the 503rd Inf, 173rd Abn Bgde from August 1970 as a Field Radio Mechanic in Vietnam, and there he served until his honorable discharge in July of 1971. Craig held several jobs to the US Army while he served, until becoming disabled and under the care of his family and the Veterans Administration. Surviving is a sister; a sister-in-law, Janice Clark of Gouverneur; and two nieces and two nephews. Craig is predeceased by his parents and a brother, Bruce B. Clark.
